- Algal bloom, possibly Mesodinium rubrum (Myrionecta rubra), photographed from 600 ft. A 2 m TL shark is shown circled in the third image. This was one of five 2.0-2.5 m TL sharks, probably Carcharhinus brachyurus, seen in the immediate vicinity of the bloom.
