- Description
- I was so excited to find this Halobate on a windy morning in November! It must be Halobates micans, the only pelagic sea skater found in the Atlantic - blown inshore due to storms. This is the first Halobate I've ever seen! It was nearby some washed in sargassum, and it was struggling a lot to walk on the sand with its gangly legs.
