Description

Not sure if this is a NZ crab or a hitch-hiker crab that has come in from somewhere else. This would have been washed up in the last high tide (the tide was on it's way out) as the goose barnacles covering it were still alive, and the crabs were still inside until we tipped the container upside down to get them out to get photos. The last photo shows the yellow plastic thing that this critter was on.
