- This is like a succulent version of *Chenopodium album* and I can't figure it out! Best I can come up with is *Atriplex prostrata*. It is growing in a spectacularly unfriendly microhabitat - a little hole in the unshaded south-facing banks of the Ballona Creek. I think is low enough down the banks that it would probably see tidal salt infiltration.
