Description

Nest found on the ground below palm trees, near salvias. Size reference: the rounded area in the nest may be about 1 1/2 inches diameter, about 1/2 the width of the fingers. The nest looks flattened, as if the little birds grew and stretched it before fledging. Nest materials may contain poppy flower petals.
